It is not the Intention of the committee to take the FUN out of playing golf, but quite conversely to actually make the game more enjoyable ( More FUN for ALL)

Golf is an Acronym      Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden

The emphasis is on the first word, Gentlemen, Golf is a game of Honesty and Etiquette. The Basic rules are very simple, if you want to read the rules as laid down by the Ancient & Royal Order of Golf, ask the Club Captain to borrow his.

We have a number of copies of "Mr Golf's Golf Etiquette Primer " for your perusal.

Good Golf is FUN to play. SO - watch your playing partners hit their ball, it is so much easier to find your ball when 3 pairs of eyes have judged where it has landed. This also leads to a speedier game – giving us more time to socialise after the game.

Basic Club Rules
  • Club Shirts must be worn at all times when playing. (No shirt _ No Play)
  • No Tracksuits - Local Course dress codes also apply – to be safe belted trousers/shorts. Some Courses actually banned Jeans.
  • Green Fees must be paid one game in advance.
  • One Swing = One Stroke on the scorecard. (After player has addressed the ball – this simply means that you intended to hit the ball as opposed to a real practice swing) Swinging at the ball and missing it Totally is an AIR-Swing and it counts on your score card (Scorers take note)
  • Players and Scorers cards scores must match. (If not matching will lead to disqualification)
  • Each Player is both Scorer and Player – Count your Own as well as your playing partners strokes – You Carry your playing partners card and he yours – at the end of the round you compare cards and sign them prior to handing them over to the Handicapper. No signature no Prize.
  • Only 5 minutes is allowed to find a lost ball otherwise 2 stroke penalty applies.
  • Out of Bounds - Blue or White Markers/Signs indicate out of Bounds – If you’re unsure – Hit a provisional Ball from as near the original location of the ball as possible. Keep playing your provisional ball until you have located the original ball, if the ball is not out of bounds continue play with the original ball. If your ball is out of bounds then retrieve it if you can and continue playing with the provisional ball – Note: the provisional shot adds 2 strokes to your score-card.
  • Preferred Lie - If the ball is on the Fairway (the short mown section of the golf course – not in the rough) the player may move his ball no closer to the pin but to a better position to hit the ball) 15cm for A grade players and 30cm for B grade players.
  • In hazards (bunkers & areas staked out with red stakes) you MUST not Ground your Club – 2 stroke penalty applies.
  • Do not walk between the ball and the hole on the greens.
  • Replace all divots and carry a sand bucket (where provided) for divot repairs.
  • For your own safety and to assist your playing partners - Stand behind the player when he is playing the ball, watch the ball and tell the player where you saw it land.
  • Please be QUIET while a player is playing the Ball, We All React Differently to distractions.

Добар Голф је у стварности право Уживање – Сви у Групи требају да гледају када играчи у групи ударају лопту, Лакше је наћи лопту када су 3 пара очију пратили куда је лопта одлетела. У савком случају и бржа је игра, тако да по завршетку игре имамо више времана за дружење.

Основна Клубска Правила
  • Клубске кошуље морају да се носе.
  • Тренерке су забрњене ‘Терени имају и своја правила ‘Да би били сигурни Панталоне са Кајшем ‘Неки терени су чак забранили и Џинс.
  • Уплату за игре замољавамо Утакмицу унапред. За сезону 2003
  • Један замах=Један Појен на бележној Карти. (AIR-Swing се рачуна, а то је кад си намеријо да удариш лопту па је целу промашиш)
  • Бележне Карте Играча и надзорника морају се слагати – Ако се разликују може доћи до Дисквалификације.
  • Сваки учесник је и играч и надзорник – број и своје ударце и партнерове – На крај утакмице потврдите белешке. И подпишите Карте. Без подписа нема ни награде.
  • Ако сте изгубили лопту дозвољено је 5 минута за потрагу лопте ‘преко 5 минута кажњава се са два замаха
  • Ван Терена – Плави или Бели Штапови или Ознака – Ако ниси сигуран – Одиграј још једну лопту из истог положаја. Играј ту другу лопту док не установиш дали је прва лопта ван терена или унутра. Ако је лопта оригинална у терену, продужиш игру са првом лоптом и само рачунаш ударце те лопте. Ако је лопта ван терена, рачунаш све ударце плус један за казну.
